When children attend schools that place a greater value on discipline and security than on knowledge and intellectual development, they are attending prep schools for prison.

Students with dis/abilities made up 15.9% of students enrolled. They constituted 28.1%of out-of-school suspensions and 25% of expulsions.

Students who receive exclusionary discipline such as suspension and expulsion are removed from their mainstream educational settings and have a greater likliehood of being arrested.
