For educators, there are so many tasks to accomplish in a day. What if there were a way to spend less time with paperwork and more time spending quality time with students. The internet of things could help educators in a number of ways. AI can support in paperwork and in coming up with new ideas for activities. Technology can allow data tracking and increased efficiency and enhanced safety. Most importantly, it can increase overall engagement with students and more personalized learning. Classroom teachers who may be struggling to find ways to reach all learners may find all students can learn at their own pace with use of technology, and students who already use assistive tech many be incorporated into the classroom technology. The possibilities are endless. There are limitations and educators should be cautioned against allowing anything to become completely automated.
